AUSTIN & SAN ANTONIO

We have arrived in Boerne, Texas which is 30 minutes north of San Antonio after spending 4 very quiet and relaxing days in Austin. The highlight of the 4 days was a trip to Rudy's BBQ which I had never been too. The rest of the time was spend catching up with Peg and Rick and playing online poker. We then headed to Boerne with a stop at the outlet malls in San Marcos.

The weather here in Boerne is very nice which promoted a trip to the golf course. Peg ( my sister ) who was the scorekeeper beat both Rick ( her husband ) and myself. However she would not show us the scorecard. HMMMMM?

We are heading out today to take in both the Alamo and the Riverwalk. We plan to tour the Alamo and then have dinner and take in the New Year's festivities on the Riverwalk. The big if in the plan is whether or not we can stay up until midnight.

Tomorrow is a day of rest and then we head for Mustang Island.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

LEAVING DALLAS

We left Dallas on December 24th and will be on the road until March 17th. We are travelling with my sister and brother-in-law ( we have us a convoy ) and our first stop is Austin. We are then heading to San Antonio and then on to Mustang Island. After that, who knows.
