GETTING TO GRAPEVINE May 11 - 20, 2010

We are enjoying our time back at the Vineyards RV Resort and it was fun to catch up with some of the people here.  It is still one of our favourite parks.

The best part is that the neighbours for the most part are pretty quiet.

We have completed most of what we needed to do with one exception, as Kathy has one more doctors appointment tomorrow.  Now we are just waiting for the new glasses to come in and depending on what the doctor says tomorrow we should be good to go.

While we were here we did get to catch up with a few people and I even got to do a little golfing.  It was a good day even though I got my ass kicked.  Thanks Bernie.

We caught up with Eddie and Anna first at their house where they were having a graduation party for their daughter Kristen and then later in the week we went out to supper with them.  A good time was had by all.  I am sorry that I am not going to be able to join Eddie and the rest of the poker gang at the World Series of Poker next month in Vegas.  Oh well, next Year.

I had a really nice lunch with Chris Taylor or Chris Dover ( not really sure what his name really is ) at our old standby ( Champs ).  It was good to find out that things are good.  Unfortuately we could only do a 2 hour lunch as he had to go back to work ( hehe )

As we are still waiting for glasses we have extended our stay in Dallas until the 25th but as we did not make a reservation for that long we have to move on Friday for the next 4 days.  We will be at the KOA in Arlington.  We still have a few people to see over the weekend but hopefully we will be able to head out on the 25th.  I am getting itchy feet.
