Bonus there was a cancellation at The Vineyards, so we only had to change sites to extend our stay. The past 4 days we have just been waiting for glasses and presciptions and trying to get used of the humidity once again. After being in the desert for 5 months we find it quite humid and having the temperature in the high 80's and low 90's hasn't helped. I am not sure we are going to get any relief as we head north as the temperature in the part of Canada we are going to has been in the mid 80's and probably very humid.
However, we now have our glasses ( except for my sunglasses ), we picked up the presciptions and the camper is loaded. We had said goodbye to all of our friends so in the morning we are heading north. It feels really good to be getting on the road.
That brings a close to the chapter " Getting to Grapevine " and tomorrow we will introduce the chapter titled
" From Y'all to Eh!!!!!"
