RETIRED ON WHEELS: EDMONTON TO WHITECOURT, ALBERTA May 10, 2009

Sunday was Mothers Day and Erin and Jolene ( Brian and Phyllis's daughters ) started off the day in a special way by having a Mothers Day Breakfast Buffet and they outdid themselves. We had all the regular stuff, bacon, eggs, sausage, pancakes and then they added potato pancakes, apple enchiladas and a whole bunch of other edibles. I had to agree with Kathy that it was the best buffet we had ever been too. There were 11 people at the dinner and there was no shortage of food.

So we would like to send out a big thank you to the two cooks and their cookee. He's the one in the red apron.

We would also like to thank Brian and Phyllis for their gracious hospitality. As always it was exquisite and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

After the breakfast we watched the Canada vrs Russia final ( Canada lost ) and then we headed for Whitecourt. After getting lost once we finally got here about 5:30PM and then went to the Casino for dinner with Peg and Rick. We plan to be here for the next four days as I have a bunch of work to do on the Camper.
